Biography

Hi! My name is Morgan Cox and I am a native Oregonian, who has recently returned to the West Coast, after five wonderful years in New York and Philadelphia, working as an actress, and teacher. I received my MFA in acting from Temple University, in Philadelphia, in the spring of 2006, after which I worked with The Berkshire Theatre Festival, in Stockbridge, MA and participated in staged readings at Primary Stages in Manhattan, as well as performing with an improv comedy troupe. I have auditioned for and met some amazing people, including Terrence McNally, Adam Rapp, Christopher Durang, Michael Greif and Nicholas Martin, and made Chris laugh outloud, I might add. Several years ago I was an apprentice at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, and was assigned to be Kate Burton’s line reader, one of the many highlights of that summer. I love what I do and look forward to further developing my career and continuing to grow as a performer.
