No, no, no, it’s not what you think! I promise. A few people got in touch with me after finding me in a photo on Molly Sims’ blog, how random is that?! Fun, though. It was a special on “Mismatched Bridesmaids Dresses” and a photo from my cousin’s wedding(my cousin is wedding photographer, Meg Perotti) was featured. Take a look:
Well, it has been a little while since I last posted, so let’s see…where do I start?! The Hallmark Channel’s “Jingle All The Way” was a huge success! I feel incredibly honored that I was chosen to be a part of this project. It gave me some incredible experience with voice over work, and I am thrilled to have it on my resume. Here are a few reviews of the project, one of which came from The New York Times, thankyouverymuch
I also have to say I am incredibly inspired these days. My dear friend, playwright Claire Willett, wrote an amazing show called, “Dear Galileo”. The show was staged at Artist’s Repertory Theatre, directed by Stephanie Mulligan, as part of the 2012 Fertile Ground Festival. Let me tell you…it was BEAUTIFUL! It is such an exciting feeling to see a new work, and know it is going somewhere. This play will be produced, no doubt in my mind. It was intelligent, thought provoking, touching and relevant. I am so glad I got the chance to see it, because it truly inspired me as an artist and human being. Here are a few reviews:
Next on the “Morgan Agenda” are a few auditions for some local Portland projects, including the PATA Annual Auditions, held at Artist’s Repertory Theatre, as well as some teaching interviews…wish me luck! Oh yeah, and finishing my writing project, which will hopefully result in a storytelling performance! Stay tuned
Well, now that they are doing press releases about the project, I can OFFICIALLY talk about it…yay! SO. A few months back I had the opportunity to do some voices for a scratch version(much like a ‘rough draft’) of a holiday special, Bent Image Lab was working on for The Hallmark Co. They ended up enjoying my work so much, I had a door opened for me with their casting director, in Los Angeles. I booked the part of MOM in the new, animated holiday special, “Jingle All The Way,” set to air on The Hallmark Channel, in late November, 2011! I am VERY excited to be a part of this project. It is directed by Chel White, who has done many projects with Bent Image Lab, as well as on his own, most recently the film “Bucksville” which utilized a multitude of Portland’s local talent pool. Although I have done some voiceover work, in the past, this is my biggest booking to date, and it will be seen nationally! Along with her talents as an actress, Morgan is also a funny lady. She often has humorous insights about stuff. Morgan has created a little blog called LIFE OF MORGAN. For your entertainment, Morgan’s comments on life, love and…other stuff. Be a follower and fan. She’ll make you laugh:
I am so excited! A few months ago I read these “Dating Tips,” and I could not help but be amused at the thought of putting them into action. They were just so…ridiculous. Needless to say, since the thought of myself(or anyone, for that matter) actually acting these out made me laugh, I decided to make a funny video.

I took this great voiceover workshop and it culminated in a booth session. I am pretty happy with some of the samples I ended up with, and here they are:)
Okay, so I have finally put together an edit of dramatic film clips. It’s short, which I am discovering is the best, just over one minute in length. I like the quality of acting work that is on here, however the burning process beat the footage up a bit! I want to work out those kinks, but here it is, nonetheless.
I have finally got a short and sweet acting reel put together. It is comedic, and includes some improv, as well. A dramatic reel is in the works, so stay tuned!
Thank you to all who continue to believe in and support me! It means the world.
This past Thursday, Morgan performed as part of “Say Something Funny…B*tch!” And look what we have here, a video of her set(thank you, Brian Bitner)! It was a fantastic evening, filled with lots of love and support. Sincere thanks to all who checked out the show. Morgan will be doing more, in the not-so-distant future. Stay tuned…
